as some people at school made comments throughout the year, i decided this year i'm going to keep the grand master list of all the books i read over the summer. [speaking of which michi -- was laven firestorm have any yaoi? hints of? meow? i was reading Exiles Honor which was all about Albreich which was pretty damn good and then there was one To Take A Theif which was all about Skif and the closest I could find was that Albreich's Kantor was male T__T glarggh]

so far my advice is thus: read Blade of the Immortal. I read the [i'm assuming it's the] first one, Blood of a Thousand, and while it was the lovely really fun artsy samurai drama i expected with lots of angst and feudal era hohaw, it was actually amusing as well. there was one chapter about an ex-ninja turned-painted that made me laugh pretty damn hard. or maybe it's just me and i laugh at stuff like the hotel hallway sketch every. single. time. [especially when southpark did it in the NAMBLA episode]

Oh and Samurai Deeper Kyo finally made it into my grubby claws, unfortunately it wasn't as nifty as i expected [comeing off of a Demon Diary high it would have to be uuber spiffy i guess] but since it had a character named Kyo....all was well. oh, michi, you gotta read Demon Diary!!! IT'S SOOO SHONEN-AI-A-RIFFIC!!! mimi has it but when she's done start pestering her for it KAY?!! GNARRRR!!! [eats chair]

oh! i killed my purple chair! it lost one leg but then it still stood up properly but a few days ago it lost ANOTHER leg and oh it was so tragic! so i hunted about and finally come up with an old old blue chair that was in the basement probably being used as the mating grounds for generations of dust bunnies, giant oogly rats, and the like.
