I threw a mini hissy fit in the bathroom this morning as I was trying to beat my snarled mass of dead cells into something resembling a hairstyle. Granted it could have been my fault that I was doing something quasi-elaborate but it wasn’t THAT weird! Anyways, I was absolutely furious, and a tangle for a head and was in mass ammounts of pain.

But now I’m sitting a la computadora, happily cruising around adorable ParaKiss and Neighborhood Story websites, listening to the hystericalness that is [kr] cube K.K. Vomit Mix. Kyo hacking a retching all over the place is just too funny. It makes me laugh every single time.

Donna, thank god, brought me some conditioner so tomorrow I will be a much happier monkey.

Oddly enough, I started my Catcher in the Rye essay. The thing is, I can’t spell for crap and I have no spell check, so the first (and only) 2 paragraphs have seen me sprinting back and forth between the computer and the Giant Monster Dictionary from Hell, which weighs in at around 3 elephants.

Oh, and speaking of me laughing until I fell over and died!! The DeG BBS is getting so many cute picture posts I’m dying about 18 times a day!! The last straw came when I saw this weird chibi drawing of all the members as rabbits....I had to get offline (after I sent it to a bunch of people) because I knew if I saw ONE MORE cute picture I was gonna have to fuse with the computer monitor so I could be one with the aforementioned picture forever. I’ll post a link to it later, after I’ve calmed down a bit. I don’t even bother putting on makeup anymore since laughing-tears just screws it up beyond recognition so I look like the imagined Totchi-Panda.

Streamload, despite being an asshole to plug up all assholes (good god!) is sorta my god at the moment since it’s supplying me with all the deg mp3s uder 5 mgs that my Modem Made By Satan can handle. The Myaku and [kr] cube remixes have got to be my favorites so far...although kiri to mayu is pretty damn good. Indies stuff is always fun, ya know? Fuck streamload right in the ass though about the 5 meg thing. I WANT MACABRE REMIX, GODDAMNIT!!

I saw Avril Lavine (spellling? SHIT!) live at radio city music hall (no, you idiots, i wasn’t THERE i watched on stupid old MTV that won’t play jrock) and you know...I really used to hate her. I hated her a lot. But now I only quasi-hate her. And the bass player!! SHIT!! To my untrained eye he looks a hellofalot like whatsisname -- Daishi from Psycho le Cemu (when he’s in spikey blonde mode not spikey brunette mode ^^) ANYWAYS he was hot and I just watched him until Daria came on.

It’s kind of a sick twisted thought that Daria is on Noggin, the alternative to all those weird kiddy-brit-coms from WAM, which I miss an extreme ammount. I used to watch The Tribe all the time (and yes, I thought Lex was a babe, if an asshole who would proposition anything with a pulse) God I wish I still had WAM. And the Action Channel, I used to get a lot of watching out of that. I got every single episode of BGC 2040 ^^;;;;;;;;;

The Grand Picture Crusade has hit a momentary standstill as I recover from Kawaii Laughter Shock and explore the joys of the the music box on my keyboard (combined with the Joys of Cage sheet music, of course) Still I have yet to hit 300 (my current record) in the “new jrock pic” file but standing at 264 is not to shabby. In fact, it’s shibby [laughs]

I left a message on Brian’s (my ride) answering maching yesterday in hopes that maybe I’ll find out that he can’t take me home BEFORE school starts (with his brother, pat, I come out after the first day of school to his car to have him inform me that he has track NOT LIKE HE COULDA TOLD ME EARLIER AND SAVED ME A LOT OF GRIEF) but till thursday....I even mentioned money was involved, which it is.

HADES is a pretty fucking good song. It’s gotta be fun to play. Like Drink or Die. Can’t you just see Hide bouncing around the studio/stage having to absolute time of his life doing that song? Not that his other songs aren’t the same, but every time I hear Drink or Die I can just picture Hide rocking it out. Or maybe it’s just his fantastic voice (yeah it’s nasal but it’s SO FUN to listen to!!) that makes me think of him with this uuber-kawaii-evil-grin on his face when they all scream “DRINK OR DIE!!!!”

I’m relatively positive that it’s impossible to listen to Hide with out smiling just a TINY bit. I laugh and try to sing along but wind up laughing or smiling so much I can’t sing, but I’m serious!! YOU CAN’T NOT BE HAPPY!! Unless you’re listening to ‘goodbye’ and feeling morbid.

And here we fly off on a tangent again. You know what else is kicking ass right now? Cake. Not the one that Kyo ate and then bat-chucked on the green linolium (bizzare picture 0_o) but Confort Eagle is basically my new favorite non-jrock cd....that and Fasion Nugged of course but I haven’t listened to this one in a long time and Cake is just sooooo cool you gotta love ‘em.

Back to speaking of Dir en Grey -- Zan was telling me about this weird fic she was reading (actually she said it was sad but when you’re telling someone about the plot it just sounds....weird) anyways Shinya is travelling on a ship to America (think Titanic only it’s not the Titanic 0_o that would be REALLY weird) and he’s of course paired with Die, and KaoruXToshiya but they’re keeping it a secret and Yoshiki is Uuber evil because hide died not too long ago so whenever he sees people in love he goes all twisted X_x like he saw mana and gackt going together and threw mana (or was it gackt?) overboard and then Gackt jumped in to save him and they both drowned (hums “Sunlit Garden” ominously and throws a red shoe across the room) and ANYWAYS he beats Totchi and then toshiya dies, but not really, they just wrap him in a sheet.

I know it sounds really shoddy the way I tell it, but I haven’t read it and I totally forgot most of what we talked about last night so pardon my vagueness. I at least have the brain space to remember the title, which was “the true confessions of Terachi Shinya” which i’m guessing is a play on The true confessions of Charlotte Doyle, which, let me tell you, is a book I have never read.

Well, that was informative-yet-useless, I hope you didn’t enjoy yourself as much as I wouldn’t have liked to.

I’m working on a bit of creativity for next time, so don’t get your hopes up.
